The Problem

The general task with these Bankwest jobs include packs of data gathered by CoreData organised into a helpful document that can be read by non analytical people. This includes developing info graphics, designing icons and following Bankwest's strict style guides. So the main objective of these task is convert a text based document into friendly, inviting and easy to read document. 

The Solution 

The solution to these projects first begins with a detailed sketched storyboard of the entire document. This helps in revealing the challenges to the document such as spacing issues, how information is going to be shown and general layout options. The next step is to get the formatting completed on the actual document, using InDesign as the software best suited for this task. The next step is to develop all the graphs and icons in Illustrator to be used later. Once all the layout is formatted I can begin to input all the data, text, graphs, charts and icons. Then after a series of edits and tweaking the document is sent off to Bankwest for approval.
